Week Of October 28
CONFERENCE WEEK Book Fair
Children will be dismissed at noon Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Letter of the week is Aa. With this letter the children will be learning to put the letters together to form words. We will be learning to stretch out words by pointing to the letters, saying the sound it says, repeat the process faster each time until the student hears the word.

Math will be the continuation of introducing the teen numbers.
We will be learning, 18, 19, and 20.
The children are continuing to learning that the 1 represents a group of ten, the 8 represents 8 ones.
The children like to say 18 is a 1 and 8. I draw one dot, then 8 dots and ask if that is 18. Then they come up with the idea that it is a group of 10 and 8.
