We are off to a great start of the year, even in the heat.
We have 6 boys and 12 girls who have learned many procedures from lining up, how to get their lunches,  playground toy procedures, and becoming a friend to all.

CENTERS
The children's favorite activity is center time.  Center time is five different free
play activities that I assign to the children.  They enjoy the activity for  15 minutes then rotate clockwise to the next activity.  As the we enter into the read program, Lead 21,  the centers will support the skills being taught each week.

COLOR WORDS

The children have decorated the ABC letters and are displayed for all to see.  This week they are learning the color words songs, then helping to write the color words that will also be displayed in our room.

SHOW AND TELL

Show and tell will be each Friday morning.  This week's theme is color.  Your child is asked to bring anything they want but need to be ready to talk about the colors found on their treasure. Show and tell is a time used to develop the confidence to talk in complete sentences in front of others.

Our  class blog

Would you please consider sending me a note with your child or email at  periuse@billingsschools.org
to let me know if you find this helpful or not?  I spend up to an hour updating this site each weekend.  I am happy to do this if it is used as a way to communicate with you about the events and goals set for each week.

Thank you for helping me.
