Letter of the week  X Y Z
               



Math

The next two weeks the children will learning ways to make ten.
They will be using a stick of ten cubes.  Break them behind their backs and show their partener.
0 + 10 = 10 
1 + 9  =10  
2 + 8 = 10

Use a deck of cards,  take out the king, queen, and jack.  The ace is a 1.
The children flip two cards.  If they equal ten the keep it.  Leave the cards face up,
flip another card. Look for a way to make 10.  Continue flipping cards one at a time, looking
for two numbers that add up to ten.

Science

We will be reviewing clouds, and moving into the phases of the moon.
