The
school carnival is planned for Friday, April 5. My hope is that we will be able to take the class to the zoo
this spring with the money raised.
Many
of you are probably as new to this as I. So this is how it works. Our class will be doing the spinning
wheel. PTA has ordered some of the
prizes for us. I have been told that cookies and cupcakes are usually offered
as a prize also, so I am asking for volunteers to bake for us.
The
second part of the carnival is a basket made of donated items from our
class. Our class will keep any
money raised by our class basket.
I have chosen a kitchen theme.
Ideas
for the basket—home made canned goods, kitchen utensils, storage containers,
candles, towels, potholders, measuring cups and spoons, spices, cookbooks,
napkins and plates, dip mixes, spices and spice packets, coffee, teas, box
mixes, oils, and dressings.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
