We have completed our unit on geometric shapes and fractions.
We will continue to play games and review these two
math concepts because the children seem to forget them
if I don't constantly review these areas.
Our new concept is telling time.
Last year the class learned to tell time
to the hour. We will review telling time
to the hour and add telling time to the
half hour. They will be using both a
digital clock and an analog clock.
The class will be using the correct terminology
minute hand for the long hand
hour hand for the short hand.
