We have just finished our chapter on addition.
This week we will be learning about subtraction.
Terms they will be learning for subtraction are:
separating, subtracting,
difference, (what's left over)
and minus (-)
They will be learning to subtract
using zero, which often confusing them,
and subtracting vertical and horizontally.

I hope that you and your child have enjoyed playing
the new math game. On Friday, they learned a new
addition game that reminded them of tic-tac-toe.
This game will be coming home in a couple of weeks.
